Dr. Francisco Gutierrez
Dr. Francisco Gutierrez is an established and highly skilled physician with over 25 years of experience in Internal Medicine. He has always been held in high regard by his patients and colleagues earning numerous accolades for his quality and patient-centered care. He has won numerous awards, including being named Top Physician by the Consumer Research Council of America from 2010-2012.
In addition to his extensive experience in Clinical Medicine, he has also held various leadership positions, including being an EPIC Physician Champion. His major interest is in vitality and longevity, researching how life-style changes can profoundly aid in not only preventing disease but also in reversing disease.
Dr. Gutierrez was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America. He graduated from El Salvador's most distinguished medical school, La Universidad Evangelica de El Salvador, with Valedictorian Honors. He did his Internal Medicine Residency at Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island New York, where he also served as Chief Resident from 1999 to 2000. While in Residency, he published many papers and was the recipient of the Humanitarian Physician Award in 2000.
Dr. Gutierrez is recognized by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also fluent in Spanish. He is Licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

A Message from the Doctor
Hello,
I'm Dr. Francisco Gutierrez, though most patients call me Dr. G. At the age of 41, I suffered a major stroke that should have left me permanently disabled but by some miracle did not. I was 14 years into my primary care practice at that time and I thought I was doing everything right to be healthy. I was regularly riding 50+ miles on the bicycle, eating a balanced diet, champion of my squash league, and I was a doctor for goodness sake. Yet I had a stroke. That event made me realize that if all my medical training couldn't save me from getting sick, it certainly wouldn't save my patients either.
Since then, I have spent almost two decades consuming the latest research in longevity and metabolic function. I combined all my standardized medical knowledge with books and studies on the body's energy mechanics and the proven lifestyle techniques that address the root cause of disease, not just the symptoms. Eventually, it was time to put my newfound knowledge to the test, and that's how SOLYMAR Direct Health came to be.
When we first started out, I was hopeful that my new approach in medicine would work. What I didn't expect is how well it would work. I have patients losing 10 pounds in a month, getting off of their blood-pressure and cholesterol medications, reducing or eliminating their need for insulin, and most importantly, feeling hope for their lives. I certainly don't claim to have all the answers now, but what I do have now is a proven method for recovering and maintaining health. And I would love to share with you what I know.
